Main questions before renting

These are the questions travelers usually ask before booking a scooter or bike in Phuket.

How much does bike rental cost in Phuket?

Bike rental price in Phuket depends on model, season and rental period. Small scooters are cheaper, while mid-size scooters and maxi scooters cost more. Monthly rental is usually better value for longer stays.

More about prices

How do I rent a bike?

Choose a model, dates, delivery area or self pickup, confirm deposit and handover time. At pickup, inspect the bike, take photos and ask about return terms.

How rental works

Can I rent without a license?

Rental without a license is often possible in Phuket, but riding legally requires a motorcycle category and an international driving permit. Always wear a helmet.

Which bike should beginners choose?

Beginners usually prefer light automatic scooters 125–160cc. For two people, hills and longer rides, mid-size scooters or maxi scooters are more comfortable.
